The 2022 Blur features Santa Cruz's lightest ever rear suspension system

New Superlight Suspension

The new link driven single pivot with carbon flex stays combines for the lightest suspension that Santa Cruz has made to date. The new blur is 289g lighter than the previous generation.

Size-specific geometry

New Reserve 28 XC Wheels

The 2022 Blur RSV models comes with Santa Cruz's lightest Reserve MTB carbon rims. Reserve 28 XC rims weigh in at 385g (1367g complete), and the design is shallower and wider to accommodate the higher volume tires that pro racers love.

How is the Blur TR different from the Blur XC?

The 2022 Santa Cruz Blur is made for all out speed on world cup races, but depending on your home conditions or the courses you want to ride, you may want to consider the difference between the XC and TR models.

TR models feature more travel, more aggressive tires, and larger brake rotors, so they are designed to be a little more capable on rougher courses. There's also a full height adjust dropper post and no lockout remote.

The extra traction and suspension comes with a little more weight, so depending on how and where you ride you'll likely gravitate toward one or the other.
