Who’s it for?
The SB140 is designed for riders on the hunt for that do-it-all trail bike.
The medium-length suspension and 29” wheels means it’s ready for whatever the mountain throws at it, letting riders prepare for the unexpected and send the routes they discover along the way.
Riders can dream big with this bike that handles the steepest and rowdiest sections with ease.

Why you'll love it
The all-new SB140 changes tack with recent changes including its 29” wheels and redesigned carbon frame, all while staying true to its time-tested design that’s made it a hallmark of the Yeti range for years.
Pointing up, down, or traversing the ridge, the SB140 impresses across the whole mountain.
Riders can choose the LR version for more travel and spicier components and both models come with improved downtube clearance and protection so you can smash descents at full gas.

What's new on the Yeti SB140?
Meet the Yeti SB140 and SB140 LR below and learn about their newest upgrades for 2023.

Two Model Types
The 2023 SB140 comes in a standard build as well as the Lunch Ride (LR) version with 10mm of additional travel (160mm instead of 150mm), wider rear rubber, and more powerful brakes.
Riders can choose between both of these models and pick the impressive componentry package that best suits their needs.
The LR model has slightly slacker frame geometry.

Bigger 29” hoops
Previously outfitted with 27.5” wheels, the new SB140 goes big with 29er hoops.
Yeti continues to offer the older setup so riders have more choices than ever to satisfy their trail needs.
The larger 29” wheels allow this purebred trail bike to attack hard-hitting terrain that’s typically reserved for enduro bikes and maintain speed on the descents.

Size SPecific Builds
Yeti has revisited every inch of the SB140 frame in order to customize the geometry of each frame size.
There are size-specific seat tube angles and chainstays that are proportionate to riders’ measurements so every rider can enjoy a balanced ride feel, regardless of their height.
Yeti has also adjusted the reach and head angle numbers. The SB140 and SB140 LR are available in sizes S-XXL.

Redefined Frame Design
Send it down the slopes with fewer worries about frame damage thanks to a new high-clearance downtube with undercarriage protection.
The dual-density downtube shield is composed of cushioning rubber and an external hard cap to ward off any frame damage.
There’s a shorter seat tube to accommodate longer dropper posts to enhance your time on the trails. Riders can opt for C/Series or lightweight TURQ carbon frames.

Improved Switch Infinity
New for this year, each T-Series Carbon frame comes with Yeti’s latest Switch Infinity design.
The innovative pivot system allows the bearing to switch direction as the bike moves through its entire travel, effectively curating the anti-squat values.
This unique piece of tech achieves both higher climbing efficiency and a bottomless feel in steep and chunky sections.
Yeti SB140 Geometry
The SB140 is fine-tuned for aggressive trail riding and stability for when the going gets steep. The LR version boasts a slack head tube angle of 65° for a controlled, predictable ride and a 77° effective seat tube so you can really put the power down.
The similar SB140 increases those specs by about half a degree each, allowing the bike to feel and handle excellently on climbs, descents, and wherever else your adventure leads.
