Norco's Gen 3 VLT Electric Mountain Bikes all share the same batteries, made from future-proof 21700 lithium-ion cells for maximum energy density to let you choose your capacity. The 720Wh provides 33% more range than the 540Wh and weighs in at just 3880 grams. The mid-weight battery strikes a balance between battery capacity and weight if you're considering a longer, faster ride but aren't 100% committed to an all-out remote backwoods excursion. The Bosch PowerPack 500 is the same size as the PowerPack 400 and only slightly heavier, but offers a longer range. When using the Bosch Standard Charger, this lithium-ion battery requires about two hours to charge to 50% and approximately 4.5 hours to charge fully. Once fully charged and together with the Performance Line Cruise, the eBike can ride up to 56 miles. The PowerPack 500 comes as a frame or rack model for all eBike product lines.

The FAZUA charger charges the battery via a magnetic plug with 2 amperes. The battery is fully charged after 3-4 hours. After 2 hours, however, 80% of the charge level has already been reached. As soon as the charger is connected to the power, its LED lights green. As soon as the charger is connected to the battery, it lights up red until the battery is fully charged.
