Comments:
Great saddle. Trek's Aliante copy--sort of. Really, it is more like a very light more cushioned Selle San Marco Regal and that is high praise, indeed. The Ti rails and the carbon shell provide a great suspension that is not too flexy and not too soft. The middle of the saddle is very cushioned and the shell underneath the middle is very thin--so that part of you is cushioned without a cutout. The saddle is more comfortable than the Fizik Aliante, which is also high praise. The reason is that this saddle is less of a hammock--less sag in the middle--so it is easier to position level--so you don't slide towards the middle of the saddle. The saddle at retail list is very overpriced compared to most other carbon-shelled saddles. My LBS had a big sale for the display model that had been tried and returned (imperceptibly used) by another customer. So, for what I paid, I got an awesome saddle.
