FOX Float 38 Factory Series 27.5-inch

The 2021 Fox Float 38 is a completely new fork designed for epic, aggressive enduro riding. With 38mm stanchions and improvements in the stiffness department, this fork is ready to crush.

The 2021 model comes with a cool new Heritage color scheme, called Pistachio, available on the 170mm/GRIP 2 model. Before launching into more specs, here’s a breakdown of the improvements this fork has over the previous model:

- A newly designed elliptical shape in the taper zone of the steerer tube produces maximum stiffness where it’s needed most
- New FEA computer modeling techniques mean there’s a new lower-leg design that improves stiffness-to-weight ratio
- In comparison to the 36, the 38 benefits from 31% stiffer transverse shear, 9% stiffer fore/aft, and 20% stiffer torsionally
- There’s also more head tube clearance thanks to a redesigned arch
- New, wider crown options help this fork better fit modern head tube designs
