Helm MKII Coil - Designed, Developed, Hand-Built By Riders The Helm MKII is Cane Creek's first major revision of the Helm fork lineup and improves on its predecessor in nearly every way. It includes a newly designed damper featuring a new compression and mid-valve circuit for increased support and control while a new SKF oil seal head and 2.5 weight damper oil reduce friction and provide a more supple ride-feel. The HELM MKII Coil includes all of the innovative features of the original HELM Coil fork including rider-adjustable travel which allows HELM MKII owners to change the travel of their fork at home with just a few common tools. IL shocks feature class-leading externally adjustable DB Twin Tube technology for the widest range of 4-way damping adjustability on the market. Both AIR IL and Coil IL now feature a thicker inner damper tube for increased strength and a 17mm reduction in overall width on the valve body to increase fitment possibilities on tight frames. AIR IL features a 6mm reduction in the outer diameter of the Air spring to further increase the likelihood of fitment while increasing the max psi pressure up to 350psi (Up from 300psi). Coil IL features added detents on the preload collar allow more precise preload tuning. The Works Series Helm is a robust, modular fork that equips riders looking for a fork in the 100-130mm travel range with the confidence to ride through tech or push up climbs. The Works Series Helm is available in 4 travel options: 100mm, 110mm, 120mm and 130mm options. Like Cane Creek’s Helm MKII, the Works Series can easily be travel adjusted in 10mm increments with just a few tools at home. Built with a stiffer chassis, the Works Series gives a smoother, more controlled ride. All of Cane Creek’s suspension products are hand-built in Western North Carolina and rigorously tested in the Pisgah National Forest.
